Your heart wants you to be happy…

Your heart wants you to be happy, your mind wants you to be safe.

Which is guiding you?

I’m going to take a guess and reply, your mind. I know… mine has too. We’ve been trained to follow it. To think it is us.

We assume it can find the way. If I just learn more, figure this out, do that thing, I will be happy.

Sound familiar?

But unfortunately, that is not the goal of the mind.

The mind is a powerful, powerful tool. It stores information, experiences, and helps us navigate life. It’s the operating system of our body. It’s wired to fire in an instance. And we need it.

The mind will stir and ruminate on life trying to figure out the way to happiness, but it’s missing an important link.

Your heart.

The challenge is, you’ve likely had experiences that hurt, and your heart processes hurt. So when something hurts, your mind is going to block the pathway to it.. to protect you.

Your mind doesn’t want you to feel pain. It will create stories and beliefs to ensure that you “never experience that again”.

The problem is, it cuts off your lifeline to true happiness.

It’s not wrong to keep you safe. That’s is role.

But if you aren’t aware that your mind has done this, and nothing happens for it to change, it will keep you trapped in that experience forever.

A few years back, I went through a training where we started with a practice of reconnecting with the heart before exploring the mind.

It was a gentle and intentional process of learning to drop in.

It’s not always easy for the mind to make space for the heart, but when you do, your life opens up in a whole new way.

You come into connection with something deeper, more visceral, and alive.

Your heart is also powerful, it is a processing center for emotions and energy, and is your initiator for life itself. It has a deeper knowing through resonance and frequency and it can guide you toward what feels right.

It only needs you to listen to it… feel into it.

In order to gain access to the insight and love of your heart, sometimes we need to meet those walls of protection, to look at the beliefs of the mind and begin to unravel them.

Your mind is driven by your past… your heart is ready to lead you into your future.

Since my training, and incorporating heart-resonance practices daily, I’ve healed past experiences that weighed on me and found freedom for new possibilities.

Now my mind is mostly the tool for my heart, though I still come up against old beliefs and patterns, now I have the support of my heart to move through those moments with more grace… and my life transforms.

How is your relationship with your heart?

Are you giving all your power over to your mind?

Learning the gentle path inward, back to your heart is a powerful journey of transformation.

I’d love to explore it with you.

Open yourself to the joy and possibilities of your heart and see where your life can take you!

with love, from my heart to yours 💕
